Did you know 360,000 students across the UK experience mental health struggles, neurodiversity, disability or long-term health conditions?
Despite so many students facing additional barriers throughout their studies, many go through their degrees without getting the help they are entitled to.
We're on a mission to change that - by empowering students with the knowledge they need to get the support they deserve.
Through our new online platform, we aim to help students confidently navigate the assessment process by sharing the experiences of current students and graduates who have already gained support through the DSA and raising awareness of the range of accommodations available.

We're looking for students, soon-to-be students and graduates who have experience with mental health struggles, disability, neurodiversity or long-term health conditions to document their experiences seeking and gaining support at university. The content you produce will be shared across our platforms to help other disabled students navigate university and get the support they are entitled to.
By sharing your experiences you'll be helping de-stigmatise and de-mystify the process, and empower students across the UK to self-advocate for the support that will help them achieve their full potential!

About Us
Present Pal was launched in 2018 - by Chris Hughes, Founder and CEO, following the struggles he faced as a dyslexic student while presenting as part of his university course.
After extensive research, Chris discovered there was no accessible solution for presentation anxiety. Determined to ensure that his public speaking fears didn’t lead to his exclusion, Chris created Present Pal, a communication and presentation support software.
Since 2018, a lot has changed. The Present Pal Team now consists of 19 passionate individuals determined to help students get the assistance they need to succeed, and the Present Pal app is supporting over 5000 students in over 100 UK universities through the Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA).
